About ABMED
ABMED is an outpatient care provider based in Berlin with more than 50 employees and over 1,000 patients under care. Like many care providers, the company faced the challenge of managing a growing organization with increasingly complex administrative and scheduling processes.
As the team expanded, so did the effort required for staff scheduling, documentation, billing, and internal communication. What initially worked with Excel spreadsheets, paper forms, and standalone software solutions gradually became a barrier to growth.
Today, ABMED manages its core operations with Humafix®: A software solution originally developed specifically for the company’s needs and now available as a product for outpatient care providers. Humafix® was built around the real-world challenges of daily care operations and is now used by many care organizations to reduce administrative workload, automate scheduling processes, and simplify billing.
The Challenge
With every new employee and every additional patient, the organizational workload increased.
Staff scheduling was largely handled manually. Changes had to be communicated by phone or through multiple systems. Service records were collected, reviewed, and then prepared for billing.
This created several challenges for the care provider:
