About ABMED

ABMED specializes in medical services and solutions. Like many outpatient care providers, the company faced the challenge of managing a growing organization with increasingly complex administrative and scheduling processes.

Today, ABMED manages its core operations with Humafix® — a software solution originally developed specifically for the company’s needs and now available as a product for outpatient care providers. Humafix® was created to address the real-world challenges of daily care operations.

The Challenge

With every new employee and every additional patient, the organizational workload increased. Staff scheduling was largely handled manually. Changes had to be communicated by phone or through multiple systems. Service records were collected, reviewed, and then prepared for billing. The core issue was the large number of disconnected processes that were not integrated with one another.

Angela explains: “Before working together, we struggled with a high administrative workload and inefficient processes. Coordination between teams was often time-consuming and led to delays.”

The Solution

In 2019, the first version of Humafix® was developed directly from ABMED’s day-to-day operations. The goal was to bring all critical workflows together in a single platform and dramatically reduce the administrative burden. This internal solution later evolved into Humafix® as a standalone software product for outpatient care providers.

Instead of entering data multiple times across different systems, all processes are now managed within a single platform.

Angela shares: “We save so much time thanks to automated invoicing - what used to take forever now happens in seconds.”

The Results

By digitizing its core processes, ABMED reduced administrative workload by approximately 90%. Tasks that previously required multiple employees and many hours—or even days—are now largely automated.
